Fabric Friday - Pillow & Maxfield

A couple of weeks ago I shared with you some photos, courtesy of The Fabric Shopper, of the Quilt Market.  Whilst writing the post I came across a name I had not heard of before, Pillow & Maxfield.  So for todays post I thought I would investigate and find out more about this design duo!

Pillow & Maxfield produce bold colourful prints in partnership with Michael Miller fabrics.  The design team behind Pillow & Maxfield are Val and Anne, who are good friends and artists through and through.  They claim their inspiration can literally come from anywhere or anything.  They have designed two collections under the Pillow & Maxfield logo, Whimsy and  Pretty Bird.

As you can see these fabrics are colouful and bold and perfect for lots of projects. Thank heavens for the internet as nobody in the UK stocks Pillow & Maxfield.
